Welcome to Term 2

What a busy start we've had to Term 2. We did lots of work about Anzac Day, learning about the first world war and the ANZAC landings at Gallipoli in 1915. The children did some beautiful poppy pictures with collage and they wrote about Anzac Day, explaining its importance. They also imagined what it would have been like to be a soldier in the trenches and they wrote their ideas as poetry.
